I am pursuing credentials to teach ELA and Social Studies (History, Civics, Economics) for grades 7-12. I have experience aiding in middle and high school classrooms. My teaching philosophy: I believe that all students are capable of learning in an environment that meets their needs. I will begin by assessing your students' strengths and interests. I will set goals, and monitor progress towards those goals. Feedback is meant to be positive and constructive, and progress is to be celebrated! I have experience working with students with disabilities and English language learners (though I am not fluent in Spanish).
