About Hannah

I'd describe my personality as caring, vibrant, and respectful. I like working with kids because they offer an opportunity to see the world with a fresh set of eyes. They inspire hope for the future. Working with kids also helps me slow down and empathize with the feelings of those around me. I'm looking for a job that can allow me to help families in need. I started working with kids when I was young. I'm the second youngest of eight siblings, so I have always had nieces, nephews, cousins, and children of family friends. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and cat at home, reading, watching tv, painting, practicing piano, doing yoga, and experimenting with cooking. When the weather is nicer I enjoy going on hikes to admire the nature around me. One thing you should know about me is that I believe it is important to foster independence and confidence in the child, and let them explore the things that they are naturally curious about, with safe adult guidance.
