About Hannah

While in college I nannied for two children aged 2-5 years old during summers. I would come up with art projects, outdoor activities, and make believe games to engage with them in deep play. I also was responsible for getting them ready for and taking them to their swim lessons, meal preparation, and nap times and bedtimes. For two years after graduating I worked as an Art Teacher for 6th-12th grade in Carlisle, PA. I had up to 20 students at a time which gave me much experience with behavior management. Most recently I have worked as a part time nanny for a family with 5 children aged 5-13. Their differences in ages required that I juggle very different interests and needs while making sure each child was cared for and occupied with a healthy activity. Beyond playing with them, a large part of this position involved driving them to their various activities, preparing meals, cleaning the kitchen, and putting them to bed.
