About Hannah

I am an experienced teacher currently working remotely in curriculum design. I have a degree in Geology and Environmental Issues. Before transitioning into curriculum design, I was the lead teacher of a mixed age elementary classroom in Washington, DC. I am passionate about inspiring curiosity and critical thinking in connection with the natural world and have experienced first hand the joy and love of learning that learners feel when they are trusted and empowered in their education. As an educator, I am dedicated to honoring each of my students' unique paths of learning, asking them questions, rather than giving them answers, and guiding them to ask and explore challenging questions about the world around them.
