I have 3 dogs (Stella - chihuahua mix, Monte - lab mix, and Diamond - pitbull terrier) and a cat (Stripes) and have been a pet owner for 10 years. I also grew up around animals! My only real experience as a pet sitter has been for friends/family. That said, I do have ample experience in childcare with references and vet reference for my own pets (though for transparency sake, I'll mention our vet is my uncle).
