About Hannah

Hi! My name is Hannah and last year I graduated with a masters in elementary education at DePaul University. Afterwards, I was a kindergarten teacher for the 2019-20 school year. My goal is to work to develop a safe, predictable yet varied, supportive, and encouraging environment, where diversity, collaboration, innovation, and a desire to learn are encouraged and celebrated. In my capacity as a kindergarten teacher, a student teacher in a second grade classroom, a Junior Kindergarten teacher for over five years, and a field experience intern at four placements, I drafted and taught lesson plans in each core subject area, integrated thematic units and cooperative learning projects, provided active enrichment activities, incorporated effective classroom management strategies, and just made sure learning was fun!
