I completed 96 hours of clinical training in a skilled nursing facility, assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting, always supporting their independence and dignity. After obtaining my CNA license, I provided personalized in-home care for an elderly patient. My responsibilities included assisting with activities of daily living, managing household duties (including meal planning and cooking to meet dietary needs), transporting the patient to appointments, monitoring health status and medication adherence, and maintaining detailed care records. I also provided emotional support through companionship and meaningful activities tailored to her interests, while keeping open communication with family and healthcare providers.
