About Hannah

I've been a RN for 5 years. I currently still work bedside specialized in trauma. I have experience with a broad patient population, a large portion being our elders due to falls. I find caring for the senior crowd quite fun and fulfilling. I am skilled in dementia care, focusing on rapport/communication, redirection/distraction, and stress reducing activities. I ensure safe mobility and assist with devices/braces. I provide basic care such as meal prep/feeding, hygiene, toileting, med administration (assessing vitals beforehand if required) and of course, spending time together and building a therapeutic relationship :-) Other skills that may apply are wound care/dressing changes, drain/IV care/management, tube feed administration, and end of life care. I am CPR and ACLS certified. Non nursing things about me are I enjoy art, exercise, and cooking. I am a WVU fan, an animal lover, and a mom to a Bernese Mountain Dog named Zephyr (I have no problem helping out with pets as well!)
