I have lived full time with a 21-year-old with autism, who was on the lower spectrum and it was such a humbling experience. Working with people who have special needs have not only opened my eyes to this lifestyle but has softened my heart and taught to not take life for granted. I really enjoy working in this field and wouldn't want to do anything else.
