I grew up with a brother who has Down Syndrome and another brother with developmental delays, ADD, ODD, and Reactive Attachment Disorder. After high school, I spent a year helping to care for them and implement their therapy program. During my years as a teacher, I have worked with other students who have developmental delays, ADHD, and dyslexia. I love making each child feel special and helping them learn and grow despite the individual challenges they face.
