I currently work at a school for special needs kiddos between the ages 5-21 years old. Over the last few years, I've gained experience with mild-severe diagnoses with various speech/language/cognitive impairments. I am a big advocate for sensory play, encouraging all modes of communication, and allowing my time with the kids to be child-led while maintaining a sense of structure and safety.
