About Hannah

Hi! My name is Hannah. I am a 27 years old, female, caregiver, and nursing student. I currently work at Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa as a care partner on an inpatient unit. Additionally, until February 2019 I was an in-home caregiver for a female in her upper 90's. I spent a total of 3 years with her. My job duties included everything from taking her to appointments, cooking meals, reading to her, assisting in all daily cares, reading poetry to her, helping her plant a garden, filling prescriptions, grocery shopping, coordinating caregiver scheduling, coordinating projects/tasks to help ensure a better quality of life for her, staying over night with her and so much more. She was on hospice care for the final 6 months of her life and I spent a lot of that time with her directly.
