I have one year of experience tutoring English and math to a Korean ESL 4th grader, one year of experience of literacy and reading tutoring to four and 5-year-olds at an early childhood center, and several months of experience tutoring college-aged Japanese students studying English. I am a natural teacher, and have a wonderful grasp of the English language. With my background as a journalism major, I have experience as an editor at my newspaper. I can help out editing papers, sentence structure, practicing English conversation, and elementary homework help.

I worked as Hannah's mentor in a preschool setting. Hannah was warm, welcoming, and friendly to all she came into contact with. She built meaningful relationships with the teachers, children, and families in our classroom. She worked with children on literacy activities and believed strongly in being a partner in children's learning by learning alongside them but also bringing in new ideas so that children can learn more about the world around them. She was a pleasure to work with and I know the children missed her when she left!
