About Hannah

Through my educational experience at Iowa State, I was required to completely one on one tutoring with a Middle School student through the semester. Meeting twice a week, I prepared new lesson plans that were focused on areas specified for that student. This was a semester long experience and it taught me great organizational, teaching, and communication skills to further my career. In addition to this, I currently work at the Iowa State Academic Success Center as a Writing and Communication Consultant. With this job, I help clients one on one with any type of oral or written form of communication. This includes assisting students with the writing process for papers, resumes, and other materials, as well as helping with presentations and speeches. I am deeply committed to assisting students and clients with any needs they may have. It is important to understand that tutoring is a differnt experience each time and it rests in the tutors hands to make it memorable.
