I have been working in this field for over 4 years, I began my career as a Activity Director, then promoted to Resident Care Director. My experience as a Senior Care Manager has been incredibly rewarding, but also comes with its challenges. One of the main challenges I have faced is helping families navigate the emotional and financial aspects of caring for an aging loved one. Many families are not prepared for the physical and emotional toll that caregiving can take, and my role is to guide you through this difficult time. I conduct assessments of my clients' needs. This includes evaluating their physical, emotional, and cognitive. I work with the client and their family to develop a personalized care plan that addresses all their needs and likes, scheduling medical appointments, communicating with healthcare providers, and ensuring medication management. I also assists with daily living tasks, such as meal planning and transportation, assistance with all ADL's!
