I have been working in childcare since I was a teenager. I was a neighborhood sitter at 13 & daycare teacher from 17-20. I began nannying part time for 1 child (age 2) when I was in college and decided to do this long term! My most recent family was a family of 6 (ages 6, 4, 2, and a dog). And prior to them I was a live in au pair in Philadelphia for a family with a 3-year-old autistic son and newborn twins (stayed with them a full year before moving back home to dc). I love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors so pets are a plus for me! Childcare is one of my biggest passions, and I love that I can intersect it with other passions such as nature, health, and food. I have my bachelors degree in public health with a minor in psychology, 2 credits shy of a double minor in early childhood education. I have my BLS certificate, and have experience working with neurodivergent kids. I have my drivers license as well, and can also provide a recent criminal background check.

Hannah is a date night sitter for my partner and I. What I love about her is how intelligent, funny, and responsible she is. She always arrives early, never late, and when we get home she gives us a summary of what her and the kids did. We love Hannah! She's a life saver. A lot of our requests are last minute and she still is able to accept most of them (:
