About Hali

I have worked in childcare for most of my life. I am currently 23 years old. Since I was 12 years old I have been a babysitter, nanny, daycare teacher, and tutor. I also have knowledge in special education including, children with mild autism spectrum disorder, anger management issues, attention deficit disorder, speech impediments, and dyslexia/dysgraphia. I attended three years of university in Denver with a declared major in elementary education with an emphasis in child psychology. I plan to finish my schooling here in Colorado Springs after the Covid-19 pandemic subsides. I am proficient at tutoring in all subjects, including art and physical education. I thrive to approach my tutoring with a common core PLUS mindset which means I find it important to use the arts to fully grasp concepts in common core.
