I have worked with children and adults with autism and other disabilities for 8 plus years. I am fluent in American Sign Language. I am also vaccinated and CPR + First Aide certified. One of my greatest joys is engaging with children through entertaining and creative activities. I believe in fostering a sense of wonder and imagination, tailoring my approach to each individual's unique personality and interests. I will write a follow-up review later on down the road, but I am writing a "first impression" review. Halie was so professional right from the start. She explained her qualifications on the phone and provided examples of what she has accomplished. She also immediately provided me with three references to contact, showed up on time for our meet and greet. For the meet and greet, she was extremely warm and welcome and casually cool which I appreciated. One of my boys has behavior issues and of course acted our while she was here. She assured me that it was pretty standard behavior (she had gone to school for child development). In the past, people have told me he was "over the top" or "needed help". I also have a special needs son and Halie has so much experience around that. She is fluent in sign language, has experience with special needs clients. Just beyond blessed that I found her.
