A little bit about me; my name is Halie and I am 29 years old. I have both personal and professional experience working with children from infant to teenage years. I come from a big family and I am the oldest child, so I have always had a lot of responsibility with helping look over my little siblings. I have also been the go to babysitter for my extended family and close family friends since I was 14 years old. As for my professional experience with children; I worked for Los Angeles Unified School District as a Special Education Assistant for 6 years. I also taught ABA Therapy to children with Autism for 1. 5 years. I have been on Care. com for serval years now and I have experience with both one time babysitting gigs and long term nanny positions.

Halie has been our full-time nanny for over a year. She has been wonderful with our 4 year old daughter with special needs. She’s very gentle and patient, and has developed a beautiful bond with our daughter. Halie takes full care of S during the work day - she feeds her, dresses her, takes her to school, picks her up, puts her to nap, and plays with her well. During her short school day, Halie organizes her room, does her laundry, and vacuums as needed. She’s been a real help and has shown strong initiative in always rotating out toys and helping to organize and separate out toys/clothes for donation. Overall, Halie has a calm, quiet demeanor and is always willing to lend a hand or take direction from us on how we like to do things. She’s been truly amazing with our daughter and I trust her completely with her care. Don’t hesitate to hire Halie for your kid’s care!
