About Haley

I have many years of experience of working with children of all ages. I spent 6 summers as a Junior Lifeguard instructor, teaching ocean skills, first aid & CPR, & leading various beach activities. I received my associates degree in Early Childhood Education at a community college in 2019, then graduated from UCSC in June 2021 with a psychology major and education minor. Pre-pandemic, I worked as a behavioral therapist, primarily with children who have autism. Currently, I am a a graduate student studying marriage and family therapy. I am working part-time as an Art Therapist at Benioff Children's Hospital. I spend my free time in the ocean, surfing, diving, and sailing. I also love to hike, camp, mountain bike, and rock climb. I am a creative and artistic person, and enjoy making art (fiber, textile, ceramics) and reading. I am a confident, positive, and grounded person, and absolutely love working with children, encouraging them to be themselves.
