Hi! I am currently a student studying Speech Pathology with a minor in Child Development! I love kids and feel called to a career with children! I've had roughly 10 years of childcare experience and about 4 years of experience caring for children with special needs. For about two years I was the primary overnight babysitter for a boy with autism. During the summer of 2013 I was the summer nanny for a boy with Down Syndrome and his sister. The following school year I was the afternoon nanny for three boys, the youngest with severe disabilities who used a feeding tube. I occasionally babysit for two girls, the oldest who is mentally retarded. Lastly, I occasionally babysit for a family with three adopted children, a boy who has cerebral palsy, a girl who is deaf, and a girl who has bipolar disorder and ADHD.
