About Hailey

Former 3rd grade teacher and 4th grade Science and Global Studies teacher at Global Leadership Academy in West Philadelphia. During my second school year, I received the Novice Teacher Award, and during my third school year, I won the Scholar Advocacy Award. I am currently enrolled at Teachers College, Columbia University pursuing my M. A. in Education Policy. I am available most week nights, with the exception of Tuesdays and Thursdays as I have night class. Weekends are fully available. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, patient, and flexible. I like tutoring because it provides me the opportunity to continue working with children while I pursue my Master's Degree. I started tutoring during my years teaching in Philadelphia, offering tutoring for students after school. In my spare time, I like to read (I read 16 books last year!), crocheting, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
