About Hailey

I am a University of Florida graduate with a bachelor's degree in English, and a University of West Florida graduate with a master's degree in Public Administration. I have taught 8th grade, 9th grade, and 12th grade English for the last 3 years, and have a combined 4 years of tutoring experience. I am open to opportunities for child-care, tutoring, or a combination of both! My tutoring strengths include literary analysis, critical thinking, communication and writing conventions, but I am well-versed in strategies to guide students toward a deeper understanding of whatever subject matter they are working with. I am currently working with math curriculum at a nonprofit. Building confidence in my students and bringing personality and joy to education is one of my top priorities! My childcare philosophy is similar. I prioritize engagement, learning and safety.
