I have spent a summer working with Esy special needs education program as a 2nd grade teacher and paraprofessional. I love working with children because I think they teach me as much as I teach them. They have such wonderful imagination and questions that are so valuable. I love being able to care and support children and show them compassion and kindness to better their own individual strengths and characteristics. I believe having patience and compassion makes for a better foundation for growth and support for rest of their lifes.
