About Hailey

Hello! My name is Hailey and I have 16 years of child care experience. I've been taking care of children since I was in middle school starting in middle school at my church. I have my bachelors in Psychology. Straight out of college, I began to work at a foster home for infants and toddlers with behavioral and medical issues. Since, I have a wide range of experience with different populations. I implement trust-based relational intervention when working with children. I don't believe in punishments to teach lessons and change behaviors. I utilize connecting before correcting, getting down on the child's level, distractions, and age appropriate conversations about choices. I love to give second chances and the opportunity to correct behavior. I have experience teaching gross motor skills as well as implementing occupational and speech therapy. I love to do arts and crafts to teach, and I am a soccer coach, so I love to play outdoors with kids as well.
