About Haileyann

Hi! I am currently a student at Colgate University. I am from Ohio and am employed at an assisted living facility. I have worked there since 2020, starting in the dietary department and moved over to a resident assistant in 2021. My role in this position was to provide care to my residents include activities of daily living (dressing, brushing teeth, etc), bowel and bladder assistance, showering assistance (both sponge baths and regular showering), and mobility support. I am comfortable with different diets such at mechanical soft, puree, thickened liquids, etc. I consistently engaged with residents in meaningful social interactions and recreational activities that promoted emotional well-being, enhanced cognitive function and maintained a sense of purpose in their lives.
