About Hailee

Before school began this past August, I happened to be in my office putting the final touches on a rebuilding project for the school. While our principal and I were hard at work, a very vibrant, purpose driven Hailee entered our half finished office area. She was ready, folder in hand, and a smile on her face, to begin her senior year and wanted to confirm her upcoming class schedule. I couldn't help but be absolutely mesmerized by how engaging and organized this young lady was. As we sat down she politely asked how we were doing and we engaged in a wonderful conversation about the future. I couldn't help but be impressed with the level of maturity, organization, and excitement that so personifies this young lady. Since then I have witnessed Hailee tackle tough marketing projects, which will help our school for years to come. I have seen her lead her cheer leading squad, learning maneuvers never before executed by the squad. I have seen her interact in student council as an advocate for the student body. And I have had the honor of watching Hailee mature from her freshman days to the young lady she is today, ready and willing to handle whatever comes her way with a smile and determination well beyond her years. Over the course of the these four years, I have witnessed a consistent maturity in Hailee. She is well organized and well spoken. She caries herself with excellence, and is engaging in conversation. She is not afraid to try, and she is not afraid to fail. She is comfortable in leading groups both small and large, and not afraid to speak clearly in front of large crowds. She tackles projects, concerns, relationships, and even conflict with a desire to resolve differences and will always work towards the desired outcome. She is flexible and she is willing to get her hands dirty in the process. She is a high achiever, yet realistic. But above all, what excites me most about this young lady is her desire to honor God in all she does with a care and concern for others first. These are qualities well beyond her years. There is no doubt this motivated, humble, engaging young lady will be successful wherever God may lead her. Hailee will leave a legacy by serving and finishing well; and she will pass on the torch of leadership to others she has mentored and loved and prepared. These are the qualities that not only make for a successful student, but for a successful life. Hailee will be a blessing wherever God has her serve, and I am privileged to call her sister in Christ, colleague, and friend.
