Starting in private home care at the age of 14 gave me the unique experience of bonding with the healthcare industry in ways most teenagers never will. I continued to work in private home care until the age of 19 when I advanced my career, receiving my Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in Las Vegas Nevada. I worked in two separate Skilled nursing facilities during the 5 years I lived in Nevada. Both experiences provided me with unique knowledge including dementia training and physical rehabilitation training. Upon moving to Oregon I have gained experience as a Medication Technician adding another set of unique skills to my tool belt. Above all else, my dedication to this work force has taught me compassion and a value in life.
