As an K-12 Adaptive Therapy Specialist at the First State School in Wilmington Hospital, I bring over five years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and medical conditions. My background includes supporting students in an autistic support classroom as well as working with young adults and seniors. I am dedicated to helping clients with schoolwork and daily living activities, ensuring they achieve their personal goals in a compassionate and supportive environment. I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate and empathetic! I started caring for people with special needs when I was a sophomore at Millersville University. I was a student support worker for a program that allowed individuals with disabilities to attend college. In my spare time, I like to coach lacrosse at Brandywine High School and take walks with my husband and dog! My skills include cleaning, adaptive play and learning, and teaching daily life skills.
