About Gyorgy

I grew up in the small town of the Plains, VA. After attending a school out there, I went to Sidwell Friends School, where I immediately discovered my love for helping and teaching. During my time in high school, I served as an EMT and worked with a D. C. literacy program. After high-school, I chased this passion into Dartmouth college where I found myself working for a couple of weeks in Beijing, China as an assistant teacher. Upon graduating, due to COVID, my start date was pushed to April. In an effort to make use of my intermittent time, I took a job in Nantucket working part time as a crew member of a sail boat known as the Endeavor. Simultaneously, I was able to work as an assistant teacher at the Lighthouse School in Nantucket, as well as babysit and academically assist a pod of families on the island. I look forward to furthering my passion for academic and extracurricular support!
