We hired Gwyn on full time to watch our 2 toddlers, aged 2 and 3. The first day was great but it got worse as the week went on. She was late by 15-20 mins the next two days. Then asked to leave early on Wednesday with only a few hours notice. She then proceeded to tell us that she didn't feel comfortable watching the children alone as they were too high energy for her and it was hard to keep an eye on both of them. By Friday she was not very kind and was on her phone texting while she was supposed to be watching the kids. She was scheduled to come Saturday at 11am but called in at 10:25 saying she wasn't feeling well. She then proceeded to ask if we could pay her right away for the week instead of on the approved upon schedule and we knew then something was wrong. We checked in on her Sunday to see if she would be coming in Monday and she said she was still sick with a fever and would not be coming in. She then again asked when her paycheck would be coming in. On Monday she messaged us late in the afternoon stating that this position was too much for her and she would not be returning. She left us scrambling to find care for our children so that we do not lose our jobs. She might be good for 1 time babysitting or watching one child at a time but I would not recommend her for doing more than that.
