For the past two years, I taught in DCPS as a second and third grade teacher. I have my Master's in Elementary Education and Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to that, I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Education. PRIOR EXPERIENCE: I have 12 years in childcare and children's safety with children of all ages. In the past five years, I have worked in two DCPS elementary schools, at my university's nursery, ran an after-school program, and babysat and tutored many wonderful children ranging from 4 mo to 13 y/o. QUALIFICATIONS: I have been CPR certified twice, first aid certified four times, and babysitting certified. From a personal standpoint, I love children and plan to devote my entire life to working with them. I look forward to hearing from you!

Gwen is incredibly responsible, sweet, friendly, and engaging! Our girls had a blast playing with Gwen and barely noticed we were gone. :) Gwen was punctual, respectful, and asked great questions about our schedule, preferences, routine, etc. She was very kind and understanding when we were running late. We all loved Gwen and would definitely recommend her and hire her again!
