I've enjoyed being around & caring for children my whole life; as an older sibling in a large family, as well as a teacher in childcare centers around Iowa. I have 4+ years of childcare experience, college degree, CPR/first aid certifications, & up-to-date HHS reporter training. I'm familiar with children of all ages & stages. I recently had my first child on 7/12, who I'm the full-time caretaker of - due to this I am only comfortable caring for up to 2 children at a time in addition to my own. I believe that communication with parents is essential - I'm flexible to a preferred method as well as am familiar with childcare/behavior tracking apps. I understand the importance of a routine. I'm comfortable with pets & housekeeping when time allows. I have my own transportation, with a valid license & clean driving record - & am comfortable with outings and school drop offs.
