About Gwendolyn

I have over 20 years of experience caring for seniors (as well as children). My past duties include helping with all activities of daily living: including bathing, preparing meals, prompting medication, and assisting in mobility. I also do light house-keeping, laundry, and helping with errands and shopping. I am a great companion and love reading to the visually impaired, playing games or getting them out and about. My past experience includes dealing with anxious personalities, in home hospice situations, and Alzheimer patients. I work over nights as well for those who are looking for 24 hour care. I work great as a team player in situations where there is more than one caregiver. My goal in giving care to your loved one is to maintain dignity while enabling them to remain as independent as possible. I am a non-smoker and have a perfect driving record. I love pets but am severely allergic to cats. I am unable to work in a home that has cats. Excellent references upon request.
