About Gwendolyn

Hello! My name is Gwen and I am looking for part time/occasional work :) I have about 4 years of experience related to in-home child care, including nannying, babysitting, and aupairing. I have spent the last year working as a TK teacher at a private school in the Bay Area. Here, in addition to assisting children learn the basics, I worked closely with parents to help address their children's needs. Prior to switching into that role, I was working in the mobile infant classroom, where I cared for children around the age of 1. Additionally, during my undergrad at Northeastern University, I interned at a history museum as the field trip coordinator and lead educator. In my free time, I love hiking, reading, and making art with a variety of materials. I love to plan activities that incorporate these when working with kids- whether it be drawing outside, going on a walk to look for bugs, or going to the library for story time.
