Gwen is gentle, professional, and experienced. She was the first person my mother truly trusted when we began in home care. She cooks her great home made meals. She loves helping her get dressed up for church on Sunday, and the two cut quite a picture together! Her caring and concern are evident, and extend beyond the physical. She has provided an ear, and essential support to my mother as she navigates her loss of independence. She will sit and listen to my mother as long as my mother wants to talk, and never lose patience or become annoyed at repeated stories. She is great about encouraging and redirecting her to stay on task. She is skilled at seeing the big picture, and working with the day to day to move Mom along toward future goals. She also works well with the other care providers, who have developed into a great team making sure mom's needs are met.
