About Gretchen

I am a college educated mother of 31-year-old identical twin girls. Being a mother is the greatest joy in my life. I enjoyed every stage of my children's development from infancy, toddlership, teenagers to today. I was a fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my girls. Both my daughters were diagnosed and treated for ALL - Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. I am strong, independent, dedicated, comfortable with medical issues and stressful situations. I enjoy being around children and babies. I love to encourage imagination in children through reading and play. Children are primed to learn and I am big on education. However, I am a firm believer that children should be allowed to be children. These years are a gift. I drive a school bus so my availability varies.
