As a childcare provider with two decades of experience, I am passionate about nurturing children's growth and development. My patient and calm nature, coupled with my creativity and friendly demeanor, allows me to connect with children effortlessly. I believe in open communication with parents and regularly provide updates on their child's day. I respect the household rules set by the parents and ensure a consistent and nurturing environment for the child. From outdoor games and physical activities to educational games that enhance learning, I enjoy a variety of games with children. My commitment extends beyond childcare, as I am happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and supervising swimming activities. My First Aid and CPR training, along with my coursework in early child development, ensure that I am equipped to handle any situation with confidence. I am dedicated to providing reliable and exceptional care for your child.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Gretchen as our nanny from the time our daughter was just 8 weeks old until she turned 4. Over those formative years, Gretchen became such an important part of our family. Her calm, nurturing presence created a loving and secure environment that helped our daughter thrive — emotionally, socially, and physically. As our daughter's medical needs evolved, particularly with her asthma and tracheomalacia, Gretchen’s attentiveness and proactive care were truly invaluable. She paid close attention to early warning signs and always responded quickly and appropriately, giving us peace of mind when we couldn’t be there ourselves. As a mom, this was everything to me. Beyond her medical vigilance, Gretchen made every day special. She planned fun, engaging activities like arts and crafts, puzzles, baking projects, and story time. She brought our daughter on adventures to playgrounds, museums, the Echo Leahy Center, and even on train rides to see Santa. Whether it was a trip to Monkey Do or traveling with our family, Gretchen always made the experience joyful, enriching, and seamless. She has a true gift with children — a calm demeanor, a warm heart, and a talent for turning everyday moments into something magical. We will forever be grateful for the loving care she provided during the most important early years of our daughter’s life. Gretchen will forever be a part of our family.
