About Gretchen

Hi! My name is Gretchen and I am a certified former 1st grade teacher in pursuit of my Masters degree to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. I graduated in 2022 from LSU with high honors in elementary education. Since then I have been an educator in the Lake Travis Independent School District. In high school I was enrolled in teaching classes, special education classes, early childhood education classes, and human growth and development. I have plenty experience being a nanny including a 18-month-old who I stayed with overnight, as well as groups of 2-3 toddlers at a time. I was a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor, so I am CPR certified and comfortable watching kids while swimming. I've always loved working with and being with children and hope to be an early childhood speech pathologist. I am comfortable with children of any age with any varying needs and willing to help children get to and from activities as well as housework. I hope I can help out your family! :)
