About Gracie

Hi families, My name is Gracie, thanks for taking a moment to get to know me! I'm a graduate student studying Marriage and Family Therapy online. With 8 years of caregiving experience, I've honed my skills. As a residential mental health counselor, I learned about verbal de-escalation and Trauma-Informed Care to support teens in an outpatient facility. Later, I taught at an outdoor school for 3-10-year-olds where we collaborated with a social-emotional curriculum. This design was intentionally inclusive of neurodivergent kids! I've also nannied off and on throughout my young adult life with all ages and many abilities. It might sound naive to say without any of my own, but kids are the best. I love working with them because their curiosity and blunt insight is so refreshing. I look forward to exploring if I might be a good fit for you and your family! As of Dec. '24, currently looking for part time work 2-3 days/week starting in January.
