About Grace

I have been working in childcare since I was barely a teenager myself! I started out volunteering at after school programs or day camps, and my first "real" job was at an indoor amusement center. I spent 5 summers life guarding and teaching swim lessons to all skill levels at Red Cross standards. I am also a passionate musician, and I have coached children in music skills including trumpet, piano, singing, and basic music theory. Furthermore, I have 3 years of experience tutoring writing. My psychology degree makes me passionate and knowledgeable about teaching communication skills and watching children with special needs. I am happy to provide tutoring or private lessons, but even if I am "just" a sitter or nanny, you can be sure your child(ren) will learn something new with me! I love engaging children in activities we can all enjoy such as crafts, music, or kicking a ball around.
