I've worked with individuals (all ages) for 15 years as a Special Education Para-Educator (Los Angeles Unified School District) helping students that have special needs in addition to tutoring (in-person/online) for families in the Los Angeles area. My responsibilities include implementing lessons specific to each individual, helping with HW, promoting language and writing skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. My areas of expertise are Special Education (All Subjects), HiSet Exam Prep, Foreign Language (Spanish and Portuguese), Social Studies, Geography, Elementary/Intermediate Math and English. I never expected to do this line of work; it happened so by accident and I don't regret it all. I've learned so much, met amazing people and it's been an awesome ride! I'm passionate about what I do; I believe in this career you have to be able to show empathy, patience and love helping others reach their full potential!
