I have 15+ years of experience working with K-12th grade (LAUSD) students as well as young adults that have special needs and/or disabilities such as Autism, Intellectual Disability, Emotional Disturbance, Speech delay among many others. I provide one on one assistance (academics) to individuals in the classroom and/or home setting, assist with feeding and toileting, help with implementing the Behavior Support Plan and Individualized Educational Plan(IEP) goals for each student. Other duties include logging Behavior Intervention Implementation, filing, grading papers, data entry, photocopying and light cleaning. I never expected to do this line of work; it just happened so by accident and I don't regret it all. I've learned so much, met amazing people and it's been an awesome ride. I'm passionate about what I do and I believe in this career you have to be able to show empathy, patience and love helping others in need.

Wow. That's what I thought after meeting Grace for the first time. I was already impressed by our phone interview, but her preparation, kindness, and communication skills was undeniable after our first session. My son is in 8th grade and has severe learning disabilities, particularly around math. Grace was patient and knowledgeable. She assessed him during the session and came up with a plan for how to proceed, including extra work he could do between their sessions. I cannot recommend Grace highly enough and encourage anyone who is considering her to speak and meet with her.
