I've worked with children of all ages for 15+ years as a Care Specialist as well as a Special Education Para-Educator (LAUSD) helping students that have special needs and/or disabilities. Some of my responsibilities include, but are not limited to supervision of children, behavior management, 1:1 assistance (academics), interactive play time, preparing meals, toileting, light cleaning, tutoring, helping with homework and promoting language and writing skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I never expected to do this line of work; it just happened so by accident and I don't regret it all. I've learned so much, met amazing individuals and it's been an awesome ride. I'm passionate about what I do and I believe in this career you have to be able to show empathy, patience and love kids and I've been fortunate to have had so many great experiences. I love to travel, learning about and experiencing different cultures and helping people.

We are so happy we found Grace to babysit our toddler son! She was very professional and took the time to get to know our family and my son’s interests. She managed clean up of all the activities, his bathtime and bedtime routine and comforted him when he asked when mom and dad would be home. She also helped watch after our dog which was great. Grace immediately connected with our son and he had a great time playing all of his activities with her. We will be reaching out to her again for babysitting needs!
