About Grace

I'd describe my personality as energetic, curious, and patient. I like tutoring because I really enjoy working with students one-on-one. I've been a teacher for over 16 years and I love the classroom setting, but I also enjoy working with individual students in a quieter, smaller setting. I started tutoring about 15 years ago, a year after I started teaching in a public high school. I believe that the one-on-one tutoring helps me be a better educator. In my spare time, I like to read, crochet, and spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is that I value family input and like to listen. My skills include teaching English and math and learning strategies at the high school level. I have an M. Ed. in secondary education with a focus on special education.
