Hi! My name is Grace and I am a 23-year-old from southern VA, & I just moved to DC. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Speech Communication Disorders last spring, and am going on for a masters in Speech-Language Pathology next year. I have a passion for helping others and love anything related to caregiving. I have varied experience babysitting, nannying, volunteering in K/1st classrooms, teaching part-time at a preschool for a semester in college, teaching ski lessons to kids 3+ this past winter, and working as a camp counselor for 7 summers. I just finished teaching teens to sail in the Caribbean this summer! I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, patient, and warm. Grace saved our ski trip! Our 5-year-old D refused to ski and Grace came to our rescue at the last minute. She played with our daughter for 9 hours straight and D still wanted more! D said “I liked how she played”. Super sweet and present. I’m sure she’s also a great ski instructor!
