About Grace

I have always loved knowing I can be a part of raising the next generation in a loving, gentle way, while maintaining healthy rules and boundaries. I've also found that one of the most rewarding things is seeing a child gain new skills after consistent work. Whether it be in school, emotional intelligence, or physical skills! I love working education into art, play, and music, rather than doing a ton of structured learning. I spend a lot of time, especially in the cooler months, taking my kids outside to find different critters and learn about them. I enjoy using nature in art projects, and just generally getting outside and playing in the dirt. For the last year I have worked in an amazing Reggio daycare with low ratios. But my mom has been a nanny my whole life, so I spent my pre/teen years learning from her, and falling in love with caregiving. Caring for several children at once has been a great learning experience, but I believe I would excel in an even more one on one setting.
