About Grace

I have tutored in music and general education since I hit teenage years, and have not stopped. I was part of a young adult reading council in high school and also gave music lessons to younger students. I babysat on a regular basis for children ages 3-10, and when I went to college to study music education I kept up teaching through lessons, tutoring, and helping with musical ensembles. Soon after I received my bachelors' degree in Education I found out I was meant to be a mother. I was solely dedicated to the care of my own daughter for three years, but then started graduate studies at East Tennessee State University for early childhood education. I worked as lead teacher in the preschool classroom at Little Bucs Early Childhood Laboratory Program, where my skills as an educator truly came together with my own personal philosophies. I am currently at a turning point in my career, looking for a full-time job in education, but I would love to take this time to nanny and tutor where I can make a difference.
