About Grace

Hi! I am a college student majoring in Secondary Education and English with a passion for working with kids. In the past, I worked as an instructor at Mathnasium, where I provided patient, enthusiastic, and clear individualized guidance, cultivated a positive relationship with each child, and facilitated frequent communication with parents and teachers. I also volunteered for four years at the St. Louis County Library, where I implemented a program to increase excitement about reading in young children. Most recently I've worked as a nanny for a local family, and I was responsible for maintaining a safe, educational, and engaging environment for two children. I also performed all household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and caring for pets. I love reading, board games, arts and crafts, helping with homework, outdoor play, sports, dance parties, cooking, and baking, and I strive to promote growth by helping children have fun learning and exploring the world around them.
