About Grace

I am Grace B. I am a graduate from the University of Iowa on the Pre-Occupational Therapy track. I majored in Therapeutic Recreation with a certificate in Disability Studies. I have worked at Child Serve for over three years in different areas such as Respite/SCL care, teaching in the Autism Day Program room, and I am currently working as a Registered Behavior technician where we provide full day therapy for children with Autism. On top of this I have worked at a day care in the 3-4-year-old room as well as babysat children ranging from the ages of newborn-12. My past as well as current work experiences have taught me how to make quick and calm decisions in stressful situations, patience, as well as creativity in a variety of scenarios. In August I will begin pursuing my dream of becoming an Occupational Therapist and will start the Occupational Therapy program at Drake.
